Swami Chidatmananda is the current Acharya (Teacher in-charge) of Chinmaya Mission Hyderabad and Regional Head of Andhra Pradesh, India. A law graduate from Osmania University, inspired by Pujya Gurudev, H.H.Swami Chinmayanandaji, Swamiji joined the Vedanta Course under the tutelage of H.H Swami Purushottamanandaji in Sandeepany Sadhanalaya Mumbai in 1989. After completing the course in 1991, Swamiji was posted as the Resident Acharya of the mission center in Hyderabad, and was initiated into Brahmacharya Deeksha in 1993 by Pujya GURUDEV SWAMI CHINMAYANANDA JI, and was initiated as Sannyasa in 1999 by H.H Swami Tejomayanandaji (the present Spiritual Head of Chinmaya Mission worldwide).

Swami Chidatmananda is popular for his talks on widely viewed cable TV channels (Gemini, Teja and Doordarshan), where he expounds Bhagavad Gita & Vemana Padyamulu (poems by Yogi Vemana). Swamiji has conducted many jnana yajnas including Vedanta (Upanishads), Ramayana and Mahabharata.

Apart from these activities, Swamiji has offered many sessions for government organizations, management schools and politicians in India with discussions on stress and mind management, self-management, ethics, and morals. Swamiji is acclaimed for his ability to unfold very complex concepts from Upanishads with ease. He is fluent in English, Hindi and Telugu languages

Since 2001, Swamiji had been traveling to USA, UK, Canada and France, endearing himself to a variety of audiences with his discourses, meditation sessions, and camps for youth and adults

Swamiji is also involved in many service programs for different sections of people in the society.
